Agreement provides HIPAA-compliant mobile communication and collaboration across the Tidelands Health system
INDIANAPOLIS – Diagnotes, a leader in digital healthcare communications, announced today that it has been selected by Tidelands Health, a three hospital system in South Carolina, to provide its secure mobile communication platform.
“Healthcare systems need to be constantly on the lookout for technology that enhances communication, drives workflow efficiencies and improves provider and patient satisfaction,” said Dr. Todd Rowland, Senior Vice President and CIO of Tidelands Health. “We had investigated other providers, and we realized the Diagnotes platform will best suit our needs and allow us to communicate as other 21st century businesses do – via text – in a compliant and trackable manner.”
Clinicians at Tidelands Health will be able to securely and HIPAA-compliantly text team members with patient information throughout the Tidelands Health system using the Diagnotes platform.
“We are experiencing a national transformation in the way healthcare is delivered, and Tidelands Health is at the forefront of embracing this emerging technology,” said Dave Wortman, Chairman and CEO of Diagnotes. “Diagnotes streamlines the communication process, driving provider and patient satisfaction, while eliminating inefficient, antiquated technology and the risk of costly HIPAA violations.”
